The UNEP FI Secretariat works across the banking, insurance and investment industries and cross-cutting workstreams which focus on developing and rolling out practical approaches to addressing challenges and mainstreaming solutions in areas including responding to climate change, financing nature-based solutions, tackling pollution & boosting the circular economy, financing the UN Sustainable Development Goals and promoting human rights.
UNEP FI recruits talented staff and consultants and runs an ongoing internship programme to assist its Secretariat both in Geneva, Switzerland and worldwide. Consultancies
- Communications Lead, Banking: develop communications strategies and compelling campaigns and engage signatories of the Principles for Responsible Banking to help us advance and mainstream sustainable banking practices across the world. At least five years’ communications experience preferably the financial services sector. Applications open until 24 August.
- US Policy Consultant: UNEP FI is looking for a consultant to take stock of policy and regulatory developments on sustainable finance in the United States. Seven years of professional experience and expertise in policy development or sustainable finance are recommended. Ideally two years of professional experience in the field of US finance regulation.
