Con el objetivo de valorar el rol de la mujer en la diversidad del entorno empresarial, así como su participación en cargos de liderazgo, potenciando los vínculos entre igualdad de género y el desarrollo sostenible del mercado, el 28 de marzo, la Bolsa de Santiago y Pacto Global Chile organizaron la 3ª versión del “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality”. El evento contó con la participación de las Ministras de Chile de la Mujer y Equidad de Género, Isabel Plá; de Energía, Susana Jiménez; de Transporte y Telecomunicaciones, Gloria Hutt; además de la vicepresidenta de la Comisión para el Mercado Financiero (CMF), Rosario Celedón; entre otras autoridades tanto del sector público como privado y financiero, como el IFC.
Juan Andrés Camus, Presidente de la Bolsa de Santiago, dijo en las palabras de apertura “Hoy buscamos elevar el rol de las mujeres en el mundo de los negocios, no hay duda alguna de su aporte en el ámbito financiero”.
Margarita Ducci, de Pacto Global Chile, dijo “Ring the Bell deja explícita la seguridad de que las mujeres podemos imprimir una mirada distinta, talentos diferentes, que dan riqueza a las interrogantes y a las soluciones, que debe plantearse un directorio efectivo”.

With the objective of valuing the role of women in the diversity of the business environment, as well as their participation in leadership positions, strengthening the links between gender equality and the sustainable development of the market, on March 28th the Santiago Stock Exchange and Global Compact Chile organized the 3rd version of the “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality”. The event included the participation of the Chilean Ministers of Women and Gender Equality, Isabel Plá; of Energy, Susana Jiménez; of Transport and Telecommunications, Gloria Hutt; in addition to the vice president of the Commission for the Financial Market (CMF), Rosario Celedón; among other authorities from the public, private and financial sectors, such as the IFC.
Juan Andrés Camus, Chair of the Santiago Stock Exchange, said in the opening remarks “Today we seek to raise the role of women in the business world, there is no doubt about their contribution in the financial field.”
Margarita Ducci, from Pacto Global Chile, said “Ring the Bell leaves explicit the assurance that women can have a different look at things, have different talents that give richness to the questions and solutions that should be considered in an effective directory”.
