Getting Started in Responsible Banking: An introduction to Key Concepts, Practices and the PRB for Thai banks  30 March at 3:00 PM (ICT)

In 2021, UNEP FI and UN Thailand co-organised a high-level roundtable on sustainable financing with the Government Pension Fund of Thailand and the Ministry of Finance; during the event, 43 financial institutions in Thailand signed the Statement of Commitment to Sustainable Thailand 2021, a commitment to build their capacity and awareness on the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Climate Agreement.

In follow-up to this event, a webinar is being held on 30 March 2022 to introduce the UN Principles for Responsible Banking (PRB), targeting but not limited to the banks that signed up to the Statement of Commitment to Sustainable Thailand 2021.

Through this webinar, Thai banks will get to know more about the PRB and how it fits into the fast-evolving sustainable finance global landscape to provide insights into how it can be used to further develop and strengthen sustainable banking strategies.
