UNEP FI will take part in the 2018 Sustainability Week to be held in Lima this year. During this week, several banks that have implemented sustainability strategies will share their experiences applying Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS). This year, new sessions will be launched on green lines, impact funds and new technologies to improve environmental risk management. The workshop presents the concept of sustainability in a strategic context and its implementation in financial institutions, different subjects will also be discussed. UNEP FI’s Remco Fischer will share the progress of the pilot projects on the TCFD recommendations.

UNEP FI participará en la Semana de la Sostenibilidad de 2018 que se celebrará en Lima este año. Durante esta semana, varios bancos que han implementado estrategias de sostenibilidad compartirán sus experiencias, siendo esta una de las principales oportunidades para obtener información relevante sobre los Sistemas de Gestión Ambiental y Social (SGAS). Este año se lanzarán nuevas sesiones sobre líneas verdes, fondos de impacto y nuevas tecnologías para mejorar la gestión del riesgo ambiental. El taller presenta el concepto de sostenibilidad en un contexto estratégico y su implementación en instituciones financieras, otros temas serán también discutidos. Por parte de UNEP FI, Remco Fischer compartirá el progreso de los proyectos piloto sobre las recomendaciones del TCFD (Task force on Climate-related Financial Disclosure).
