More than 80 participants followed the invitation of UNEP FI and the two Greek sustainability leaders Eurobank EFG and Emporiki, that had hosted a one-day conference on sustainable banking in Athens. The senior managers of both banks emphasised how sustainability aspects have been integrated into their credit, product and supply chain policies. UNEP FI was delighted to welcome a representative of the European Commission as a keynote speaker at the event. Further speakers at the event came represented EBRD, Unicredit, San Paolo IMI Asset Management, CoreRatings-DNV, the Union of Environmental Scientists, as well as the University of Athens. The event was supported by the EBRD.
