The Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI), The Generation Foundation, and the International Institute of Green Finance (IIGF) invite you to a Policy Roundtable on ‘Investor Obligations and Duties and ESG Integration,’ hosted by BNP Paribas. Building on the recent achievements of the national Green Finance initiative in China, this event aims to discuss the development of a regulatory environment that promotes consideration of financially material environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues, consistent with investor obligations and duties. The event will take place on 13 October, 2017 from 8:30am – 12:00pm at the China World Hotel.
This event is the second of two organized in China, which are part of the broader work of UNEP FI and the PRI supporting the integration of material ESG issues in investor obligations and duties. The first roundtable, focused on investor best practice, will bring together a panel of investment professionals discussing this topic in Shanghai on October 11, 2017. The ideas generated at both events will complement research on how clarifying the role of ESG integration in investor obligations and duties can contribute to achieving China’s long-term vision of balanced, inclusive and sustainable development. A summary report incorporating the main findings of the research and the roundtables feedback will be published in January 2018.
This meeting is open to UNEP Finance Initiative and PRI signatories and non-signatories.

责任投资原则（PRI），联合国环境规划署金融行动机构（UNEP FI），世代基金会和中央财经大学绿色金融国际研究院 (IIGF)诚邀您参加由法国巴黎银行主办的关于“投资者责任和义务以及ESG整合”的政策专家圆桌会议。基于中国在国家绿色金融举措的最新成果，本活动旨在探讨投资和监管环境发展对于中国金融领域重要的环境、社会和治理（ESG）问题的推动作用，以与投资者的责任和义务相契合。本次活动将在10月13日上午8:30 到12:00 (CST) 在北京中国大饭店举行（北京市朝阳区建国门外大街1号）。
本活动是在中国举办的两场会议中的第二场。这两场活动都是PRI和UNEP FI在推动投资者为重要环境、社会和治理（ESG）整合问题所应尽到的责任和义务。第一场圆桌会议着眼于投资者实践，将于2017年10月11日在上海邀请一个投资专家小组讨论这个话题。在这两个活动中提出的想法都将补充在明确ESG整合在投资者责任和义务中的角色将如何助力实现中国长期平衡、包容和可持续发展的研究上。包含研究和圆桌反馈主要发现的总结报告将于2018年1月发布。
本次会议向联合国环境规划署金融行动机构和责任投资原则签署方和非签署方开放。
